P. J. Noyes continues to upgrade both of its Lancaster, NH facilities. The management team is committed to reducing the companies’ impact on the environment with sustainability initiatives. Recent activities include the following:
1. Installation of new triple paned windows.
2. Unused overhead doors at the Main street warehouse were fully insulated and enclosed. The front overhead door was replaced with a new insulated door.
3. Old heaters were removed from unoccupied crawl spaces, eliminating waste heat.
4. New high efficiency lighting was installed at both facilities.
5. An independent third party is conducting an energy audit of P. J. Noyes.
6. P. J. Noyes is actively evaluating a BioFuel plant as an alternative to burning oil. This would provide heat for P. J. Noyes plus many surrounding businesses.
